
About Latinx Business Association (LBA)
Open to all undergraduate students in the College of Business (COB), the Latinx Business Association (LBA) was established in the fall of 2018. The reason behind forming the organization was to provide community among students in the COB who have an interest in Latin cultures and to provide opportunities for service, networking, and career skill-building.
LBA Vision
Our vision is to provide a community for growth and development that will facilitate with student success through social and co-curricular opportunities that are accessible and business-oriented for all undergraduate students in the College of Business.
LBA Mission
The Latinx Business Association’s mission is centered on three priorities:
- Professional development and career skill-building
- Service projects and community outreach
- Peer relationships and professional networking
LBA Values
- Community: We are committed to developing and strengthening connections with peers, staff/faculty, and business professionals.
- Engagement: We value students and staff who are committed to being fully engaged and invested in any activity provided by our organization.
- Accessibility: We provide activities that are either free or of little financial cost.
- Growth and Development: We aim to provide a variety activities that can foster growth in the application of social and professional skills to a broad base of business industries.
In addition to LBA’s values, we also adhere to CSU’s Principles of Community. The Principles of Community support the Colorado State University mission and vision of access, research, teaching, service and engagement. A collaborative, and vibrant community is a foundation for learning, critical inquiry, and discovery. Therefore, each member of the CSU community has a responsibility to uphold these principles when engaging with one another and acting on behalf of the University.
