  • Guest speaker events, each with expert advice to help you develop as a student.
  • Over 100 scientifically-proven academic tips & strategies are given to students participating in Rock 3.0.

Topics Covered During the 10 Week Program:

Students who enroll are required to attend all 10 sessions of Rock3.0; each session is 50 minutes in length. In addition, participants are asked to complete some take-home activities that involve reflection, goal-setting, and scheduling. They are also asked to meet with their academic advisors and to visit resources on campus. The out-of-workshop time commitment is approximated to be 3 to 5 hours total for the semester.

Main Themes Throughout Each Session:

Throughout the 10-week program participants interact regularly with the facilitator, ultimately developing a strong relationship based on genuine care and concern. Students participate in active discussion that is designed to validate their experiences, provide encouragement, and support change in counterproductive behaviors that negatively impact students’ academic experience.
